In the volcanic mountains of Antigua, Luis Pedro Zelaya has sealed his reputation as one of Guatemala's top quality producers. He is fourth-generation producer and miller who has spent the last 20 years tirelessly building up the Belle Vista Mill to what it is today. Serving not only his own farms but some of the oldest farms in the country, Luis works to produce the best of every cherry that enters the mill.
Just as we are committed to the idea Kichōmen【几帳面】, Luis is just as committed to a meticulous workflow. Every batch that enters the mill is electronically tagged with software created by Bella Vista. This allows extreme traceability throughout the entire process. With a quick scan of a QR code workers can ID blend composition with farm or farmer, variety, and location the lot originates from.
With tasting notes of citrus, stone fruit, black tea and a honey-like sweetness, this micro-lot of 100% bourbon showcases some of the best coffee Guatemala has to offer.
To Luis- 本当にありがとございます!
